ESCONDIDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Echo Pacific Construction, Inc. is pleased to announce the recognition of the Poway Unified School District Willow Grove Elementary School as a recipient of an AGC of San Diego “2009 Build San Diego Award of Merit.” The AGC of San Diego recognizes the outstanding contributions of its members to the San Diego Construction Industry through the Build San Diego Awards Program.

Echo Pacific Construction, Inc., one of San Diego’s premiere construction companies, has demonstrated its expertise and commitment by completing construction of a new 22,500 sq. ft. administration, library and food service building surrounded by 36 new classrooms in 5 buildings with an accelerated 7 month schedule. Classrooms include teaching walls with “smart boards” and the latest in audio/visual technology. The site includes an outdoor amphitheater, preschool and kindergarten playgrounds, full basketball, tetherball and handball courts and a full size synthetic turf soccer field. Landscaping was designed with drought tolerant plants and water conservation in mind. This Lease/Lease Back project value was $26M with the project totaling 63,500 sq. ft.
